Rachel Weinzimmer, MS, PA-C

Rachel Weinzimmer is an Assistant Professor and Director of Didactic Education at the Colorado Mesa University PA program. She directs and oversees numerous courses. She has practiced in rural emergency medicine as a PA for 10 years and served as the Lead AHP. Prior to PA school, she worked in the pre-hospital setting as an EMT for 8 years and was a medical researcher. She earned her Bachelor of Science in both chemistry and biophysics from the University of Connecticut. Mrs. Weinzimmer attended the University of St Francis PA program and was inducted into Pi Alpha and awarded the "Most Outstanding Physician Assistant Student" award.

Mrs. Weinzimmer is dedicated to the profession and has served in many roles within the Colorado Academy of PAs, is a past president, and has multiple roles within the AAPA. You are most likely to spot her in the AAPA House of Delegates working on policy.
