Jinny Trangluu, MMS, PA-C

Jinny is an experienced physician assistant with a diverse background in surgery. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Medical Science degree from Nova Southeastern University PA Program in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Originally from Tampa, Florida, she relocated to the scenic city of Seattle in 2023, finding a sense of home in the Pacific Northwest. She takes pleasure in hiking, solo traveling, maintaining her health and fitness, and cultivating a wellness mindset.

In the early stages of her career, Jinny specialized in neurosurgery, where she developed expertise in managing various brain and spine disorders. In the operating room, she played a pivotal role as the lead surgical assistant, contributing to the implementation of state-of-the-art surgical procedures for the brain and spine. Her proficiency included the application of advanced surgical techniques that incorporated microsurgery, as well as minimally invasive and robotic approaches. Jinny's comprehensive management skills extended to patients in various fields, including trauma, neurocritical care, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and neuro-oncology.

Jinny presently specializes in general surgery with a particular focus on gastrointestinal cancers. She serves a dual role as a teaching faculty member at the University of Washington in the Department of Surgery and as a surgical oncology provider at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. These institutions are globally recognized for their groundbreaking contributions to advancing scientific knowledge and innovation in cancer research, positioning Jinny at the forefront of the nation's leading academic centers. Her close collaboration with the foremost surgical experts keeps her engaged with current studies, publications, and journals. This position ensures that she remains well-informed and equipped to contribute to the continuous evolution of surgical techniques and treatment strategies in the dynamic landscape of general and oncological surgery.

Additionally, Jinny has actively pursued ongoing professional development and continuing education through workshops, conferences, and specialized training programs, allowing her to demonstrate a commitment to staying abreast of the latest medical innovations and refine her skills in response to evolving healthcare practices.
