Heidi Elgart, MSN, RN, ACNP-BC obtained both her BSN and MSN from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She has spent the past 23 years working as a Trauma Nurse Practitioner and finds passion and excitement in caring for traumatically injured patients. Additionally, Heidi is a Course Director and Associate Course Director for a several courses within the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) Program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. In this role she helps coordinate courses within the traditional AGACNP program and several post-graduate fellowship programs in combination with the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
