Anthony has more than 10 years of experience in the medical field. He started his career in Emergency Medicine working both prehospital and in the Emergency Department. He was constantly pursuing further education as he completed courses to become an EMT and Paramedic. While working as a wild-land firefighter he finished his Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He spent his youth in Southern California where he continued to live and work until he was accepted into a Physician Assistant program which required him and his family to pack up and move to Oregon. He completed his Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Pacific University during which he and his family were able to travel up and down the west coast and Alaska, finally deciding to settle in Washington.
As a PA he has worked in both Orthopedics and Emergency Medicine. Over the last four years in Orthopedics, he has gained broad experience in sports medicine, total joint replacement, trauma, foot/ ankle and Hand surgery. The mechanical nature and the ability to visualize healing is what excites him about orthopedics. He has enjoyed caring for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and shepherding them through the recovery process allowing them to get back to activities they enjoy.
Outside of being a PA Anthony stays busy spending time with his wife, daughter, and two sons. Their days consist of building forts in the backyard, Legos and impromptu musical performances. On weekends they get out to the lake, find new places to camp, and explore any playground they come across during their adventures.
