Lori G. Gentile, MD is an assistant professor at Emory University School of Medicine in the Departments of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and Pediatrics and a pediatric otolaryngologist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
She joined her group in 2023 after working in private practice for several years in Atlanta. Dr. Gentile completed her medical training at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana and her residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Gentile went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC and has been in practice since 2018. While she enjoys all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology, Dr. Gentile has focused interests in sinonasal disease, chronic ear disease, and dysphagia. She has presented her research at multiple national meetings through the years and has been repeatedly selected by her peers as one of Atlanta Magazine’s Top Doctors. When Dr. Gentile is not working, she can be found running, cycling, cooking, and spending time with her husband, two children, and two rescue dogs.
